TBO Travel Teams - General Information 2008

Travel Teams are selected from those players enrolled in TBO "rec" league. These teams generally play at a highly competitive level. Each team will play both home games in Teaneck as well as travel to other nearby towns for away games. Although every "rec" player is eligible to tryout for these teams, the teams rosters are chosen by the Manager for each individual age group. There is an additional cost for Travel which includes a uniform.

Girls Softball:

TBO generally runs a 14u and a 12u travel team for girls softball each spring. The current team (2008) is a 14u team and is competing will continue to play games throughout this spring.

Summer Baseball:

Summer Ball is an intense baseball experience. Players should expect to be available for games and or practices 4-6 sessions per week from mid June until early August. Players must not be away at camp or vacation during this period.

Fall Baseball:

Fall Ball is also for the serious baseball player, but, because the season coincides with the start of school, most teams have fewer practices. Games are played every Sunday and some weeknights. Players must be available Sunday!
